Meet Julie
Find Your Voice is a vocal coaching program founded by Julie Lavery, a Berklee College of Music graduate and professional singer with over a decade of experience in the music industry. Since 2011, Julie has built a diverse and accomplished career, performing across a wide range of settings—from cruise ships and five-star hotels to the stages of Disney World and the famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, TN.
Her professional credits include contributing vocals to Dolly Parton’s album Rockstar, providing background vocals for the opening act on Carly Pearce’s “29 European Tour,” and opening for recording artist, Jade Bird. These experiences have shaped her well-rounded, real-world understanding of what it takes to grow and sustain a career as a vocalist.
Julie created Find Your Voice with a mission to support singers at every stage of their journey, from aspiring beginners to working professionals. What sets her program apart is its unique focus on how singing feels rather than simply how it sounds. Julie understands that when the voice feels free, the sound naturally follows—and it is through this freedom that singers truly discover their authentic voice. The program itself is a true labor of love—carefully crafted into a comprehensive video library covering the essential knowledge every singer needs. Julie created this resource to solve a problem she experienced firsthand: so much of the most important vocal information is difficult to find, often scattered or lacking clear guidance. Find Your Voice brings it all together in one place, offering singers a clear, supportive path forward.
In addition to its innovative approach, Find Your Voice is designed to foster a strong sense of community among its students. Through an interactive discussion board and monthly virtual masterclasses, singers have the opportunity to connect, learn from one another, and grow together in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Through this holistic approach, Find Your Voice empowers artists to build confidence, develop healthy technique, and connect more deeply to their own sound—helping each singer find not just a better voice, but their voice.
